The first batch of SOF- sponsored children appeared for the Board exams in 2007. Since then about 100 children have cleared their Board exams. Some of them have pursued their graduation, vocational or professional courses and SOF has supported them all the way. Most of them have to necessarily opt for jobs at call centres and malls to supplement their family income.
SOF is happy to have been instrumental in giving an opportunity to those children who could not have dreamt of a quality education to obtain economic empowerment.
